Scott J. Spivey, Esq. is the founder and principal attorney of Scott J. Spivey, A Professional Law Corporation, a firm he established in 1997 to deliver strategic, compassionate legal services to individuals, families, and businesses alike.

Scott’s path to the legal profession began with a foundation of service and leadership. A graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy, he served as a Conning Officer, Deck Officer, and Boarding Officer, where he honed the operational discipline and problem-solving skills that continue to define his legal approach today.

After earning his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Scott launched a legal career that has spanned private practice, public service, and executive leadership. His early work as a sole practitioner included representation in domestic, criminal defense, and tort law, providing direct, client-focused counsel in high-stakes matters.

He later served as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer of Hammerman & Gainer International, Inc., where he advised on multimillion-dollar contracts, complex regulatory frameworks, and enterprise-level litigation—experience that now informs his counsel to corporate clients across industries.
